[LbNA] New box in NJ

From: Kimberly Mako (MartianMaggot@netscape.net) | Date: 2000-03-05 19:26:47 UTC-05:00
Hey everybody!

Here's the posting for my second box. It's a mystery box, somewhere in New
Jersey, with the only catch being where :)
I've put it up on my webpage, at www.geocities.com/martianmaggot_k9/
Also, I was wondering if, for my first box, the Liberty State Park box, could
you just post a link to my webpage for the clue? I've made it a bit easier to
read. It's the same clue and all, just looks nicer :)
Thanks...

Kimberly

Dear Kim,

Your Beware of the Vines has an ominous ring! Nice clues.

BTW, Mitch, if you are reading this, you should change the link for
Liberty State Park (NJ) from the current egroup archive to Kim's
very nice web page at

Okay. I will wear a blaze orange t-shirt with no pants. After some warm-up
exercises, I will walk to the box with an official John Cleese "silly
walk". When I find the box, I will scream "Oh, my God! It's Jimmy Hoffa!"

That's as conspicuous as I can be on short notice. :-D

The Lion's Den
Cape May County Park & Zoo
Cape May Court House, NJ
Cape May County
Placed by the Houston Clan
August 8, 2002

Exit 11 on the Parkway
Entrance is free, but donations are excepted. A nice county park complete with duck pond, playgrounds, picnic areas, & a zoo. The park is open until dusk. However, the zoo closes at 4:45pm.

At the zoo entrance, take the bike path to the right. Follow it until you reach a fork in the road. Go right. Continue until you come to the intersection of the tar path and nature trail. Follow the nature trail to the left. Take 65 paces (1 pace = 1 average footfall). On the right is a tree that looks like a chair complete with a high back. The den is behind the tree. Please rehide well.

Caution! You will need to walk thru low bush here, so be careful of poison ivy. This is also a high traffic area on nice days, so be conspicuous.

LOL!!! I will be in Cape May this weekend, so please, please wait to
do the song and dance until I get there! As a lonely letterboxer
from Michigan, my letterboxing adventures could use a little
laughter! Besides I've always wanted to meet Jimmy Hoffa!
